Norway Expedition: From Mountains to Fjords

I invite you to join our expedition. We plan to visit some beautiful places all over the country.

We’ll walk through mountains and forests, moving forward to the ocean shore and fjords. The main goal is to shoot beautiful pictures from mountains, but we’ll also get closer to the water to get the shore pictures from different positions. It makes our schedule pretty tight so we need to move fast to cover all planned photo shooting areas.

And of course, since we’re going to the mountain’s site, safety measures are important thing to take care of. All members of our expedition got climbing equipment, navigators, radio phones with extra packs of batteries and maps of locations we’re going to.

We’ll start our journey from the helicopter and then we’ll proceed to move on our own, carrying all the gear and wear. So it’s another important thing to plan: which equipment we need. This expedition will take us a couple of weeks, so, along with the pictures of nature, you can expect a lot of the team and camping photos as well.

For the start of our journey, we chose August so, hopefully, temperature and other weather factors will be on our side.

As for the traveling expenses, helicopter flight will take around 2,000$, which is expensive enough but will save us a lot of time for actual photo shooting.

Day 1

First destination point – mountains. We start at the local airport meeting our helicopter pilot. The flight will take about an hour, and we’ll reach the first photo shooting spot:

Day 2

Next day, at 14 p.m. we’ll reach the second destination point. We’ll get to the highest mountain around to take best panoramic views. Hiking will be tough a bit, but trust me, it’s worth it:

Days 3, 4, 5

Next couple of days we’ll reach and start exploring the shore. These places are incredibly beautiful, It’s difficult to find the words to express what you feel here. The place is magical, and it’s almost completely wild and untouched, preserving natural beauty.

Day 6

On our way back, we’ll take another route to take some more pictures deeper in the forest, at a mountain site. There, we’ll have some extra time to rest and take extra photos

Day 7

We travel to the bus station, and from there – back to the airport with our incredible experience and memories.
